About Lacey
I am a French tutor with 5 years of experience teaching high school and college students, having guided over 150 learners to fluency, academic success, and confidence in their communication skills. My teaching philosophy is rooted in personalised learning, designing lessons that cater to each student’s strengths, learning style, and goals.
I integrate interactive conversation practice, multimedia tools, role-playing exercises, and cultural insights to create engaging and practical lessons. My unique skill lies in simplifying complex grammar and vocabulary concepts, enabling students to learn efficiently while gaining confidence in expressing themselves.
I focus on creating a supportive, encouraging, and motivating environment, where students feel comfortable exploring language, asking questions, and taking risks. Lessons are structured to ensure balanced growth in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

My French teaching methodology is interactive and student-focused. I use real-life examples and case studies such as restaurant conversations, travel planning, workplace discussions, and academic writing tasks.
These activities help students practise natural communication. I teach grammar in context so students understand how to use it correctly in real situations. In addition to French, I also teach related subjects such as communication development, vocabulary building, pronunciation training, and exam preparation techniques. My goal is to make students fluent and comfortable using French in daily life.
