About Skye
I am an experienced Guitar tutor with more than 6 years of teaching college students. My goal is to make guitar learning practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building.
My teaching style is flexible and encouraging. I listen carefully to students’ goals and challenges. Based on this, I design lessons that are clear, structured, and easy to follow.
I use innovative methods such as real-song learning, technique-focused exercises, and guided practice routines. Students improve chord accuracy, rhythm, and finger coordination step by step. I also include creative exercises to improve musical expression.
Music theory is explained in a simple way and applied directly on the guitar. I also introduce improvisation and ear training to help students develop musical understanding.
I believe a positive learning environment helps students grow faster. My goal is to help college students enjoy guitar learning and become confident, independent musicians.

I teach Guitar with an emphasis on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I aim to inspire students to enjoy music while developing technical skills and personal expression. Lessons include improvisation, composing original pieces, and exploring multiple musical genres.
Critical thinking is central to my approach. I guide students to analyze songs, understand music theory, and develop strategies to learn and perform music independently. This builds both skill and confidence.
Accountability ensures steady growth. I help students set clear goals, maintain consistent practice, and reflect on achievements. Constructive feedback and encouragement motivate students to progress steadily.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance techniques. Each lesson is personalized for the student’s level, pace, and musical interests, making learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
My goal is to mentor students into becoming confident, creative, and independent musicians who can enjoy, create, and perform music for life.
