About Henry
For me, teaching Guitar is more than teaching an instrument. It is an opportunity to help students build confidence, creativity, and discipline. With 11+ years of tutoring experience, I have successfully taught around 300-350 High School and College students. This has been one of the most important milestones of my career.
I believe every student deserves a learning experience that is positive and personalized. I take time to understand each learner's musical interests, current skills, and goals before planning lessons.
My Guitar lessons include chords, scales, rhythm, strumming patterns, finger techniques, music theory, song learning, and performance preparation. I use simple explanations and practical exercises to help students understand and apply new skills.
I encourage students to learn songs they enjoy because this can make practice more interesting. I want them to experience the satisfaction of using their skills to create real music.
Teaching 300-350 students has given me experience with many different types of learners. It has taught me to be patient and flexible and to change my approach when a student needs additional support.
One of the most rewarding experiences in my career is watching students overcome difficulties. A student who begins with little confidence can gradually become comfortable playing and performing. Being part of that transformation is deeply satisfying.
I encourage students to set realistic goals and work toward them consistently. I remind them that Guitar is a skill that develops over time and that mistakes are a natural part of the process.
I also want students to develop valuable qualities through music. Regular practice can help them build discipline, concentration, patience, perseverance, creativity, and self-confidence.
My teaching philosophy is centered on progress rather than perfection. I want students to recognize their improvements and stay motivated to continue learning.
My goal is to make every lesson practical, enjoyable, and inspiring. I want students to develop strong musical foundations and the confidence to explore music independently.
I am thankful for every learner who has been part of my teaching journey and excited to help many more students discover their musical potential.

My Guitar teaching approach combines strong fundamentals with creativity. I believe students need proper technique and musical understanding while also having opportunities to explore their own ideas.
I begin with Communication to learn about the student's Guitar background, musical interests, goals, and learning preferences. This helps me build lessons that match their individual needs.
I use Adaptation to Learning Styles through demonstrations, chord diagrams, listening exercises, written explanations, repetition, and hands-on practice. I break difficult topics into smaller steps.
I use Real-life Examples and Case Studies from songs, performances, songwriting, and improvisation. Students learn how chords, rhythm, scales, picking, and melodies are used in actual music.
My Guitar curriculum includes chords, strumming, rhythm guitar, fingerstyle, picking, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance preparation. Related subjects include Music Theory, Songwriting, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Music Appreciation, Basic Composition, and Music Performance.
I encourage students to create simple melodies, chord patterns, rhythms, and improvisations after learning the basic concepts. Regular feedback helps them improve their technique and musical expression.
My goal is to build strong Guitar foundations while encouraging creativity, confidence, curiosity, and independent musical thinking.
