About Owen
I am an all round creative artist & DJ with a few aliases in lots of different styles and scenes. I also have a keen interest in history, religion, and learning in general. Very much an autodidact. I study all day.
I've been obsessed with everything music ever since I can remember, my main job experience was in the Theatre industry: backstage, doing lighting and sound at the Hackney Empire Theatre in London. As well as general freelance at BAC.
I've played Low Surdo as part of Drum Heads since 2014 and been a part of the Drum Works Project in 2011. I have also been an apprentice for them and assisted in teaching in 3 schools during our workshop style group lessons - drumworks.co.uk

I teach aurally and kinaesthetically - by ear through physical visual demonstration and repetition. I learned by ear myself so it is how I like to teach. I have an understanding of theory, I can read music but prefer to develop the ear and how your listen. This is especially useful for the student to enjoy the process and not get bogged down in theory.
Duration : 40 mins / 60 mins / 100 mins
I can teach up to GCSE level and A level with Music Technology as those are what I did myself in school. I like to teach beginners & intermediates and those that just want to play because they want to. As for specific disciplines:
Percussion - right up to intermediate / advanced
Drums - beginner
Guitar - beginner / intermediate
Bass - beginner
Composition - intermediate
Production/Engineering - right up to intermediate / advanced
