About Andres
Mathematics doesn't have to be overwhelming or stressful! As an industrial engineer, I focus on making math easy to understand through clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and practical real-world applications.
My goal is to help elementary and middle school students build logical thinking skills, improve their grades, and develop genuine confidence in their abilities. Every session is personalized to match the student's learning speed and school curriculum.
I am a passionate industrial engineer who has been tutoring math for several years, starting by helping high school and university peers before transitioning into 1-on-1 personalized tutoring.
I strongly believe in the principle that teaching is the best way to keep learning. My engineering background allows me to break down complex concepts into simple, structured steps, helping young students not just memorize formulas but truly understand the "why" behind them.

I would to like say how pleased I am with Coach Andres’ one-on-one soccer lessons my daughter has been receiving. My daughter plays for her high school team and I have witnessed her skill level and confidence boost every time I see her put to use all the drills, ball handling techniques she is being taught. Coach Andres is immensely knowledgeable and carries with him a great passion for this wonderful sport.
It was obvious from the beginning Coach Zuluaga cares deeply not only for the game of soccer, but for the athletes he trains. Great communication skills, patience, great enthusiasm for every practice and game.

Pricing Details:
1st Lesson Free (30 mins): I offer a free initial session to assess the student's current level, discuss learning goals, and ensure we are a great fit.
Travel Surcharge (If applicable): Lessons held online or at a local library/public space are at the base rate. For in-person lessons at your home, a small travel fee (+$5 to +$10 per session) may apply depending on the distance.
Package Discounts: Discounted rates are available when booking 5 or 10-hour lesson packs in advance.
