About Malinig
With more than 5 years of piano teaching experience, I specialise in helping college students improve their skills while enjoying the learning process. My lessons are personalised and designed around each student’s learning style, interests, and musical goals.
I combine traditional piano training with creative and modern approaches such as improvisation, music composition, and interactive sight-reading activities.
I focus on technique, theory, rhythm, and performance preparation while also encouraging students to express themselves freely through music. I believe that learning piano should be both structured and enjoyable.
My aim is to help students gain confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of music, so they can play with expression and pride while developing a lasting passion for piano.

My piano teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, and accountability. I focus on helping students develop musical skills, confidence, and a love for music.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring different music genres, and learning songs that interest students. This keeps lessons engaging and enjoyable.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple steps. Students learn to analyse their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is built through clear goals, structured practice routines, and regular feedback. This helps students stay focused, disciplined, and motivated throughout their learning journey.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm training, keyboard skills, and basic composition to strengthen musical foundations.
