About Tumini
Hello! I’m Mrs. Brown, a patient, friendly, and passionate tutor who enjoys helping children build strong academic foundations.
I teach Phonics, Reading, English, Mathematics, and Handwriting to primary-school children.
I understand that children learn at different speeds, so I adjust my teaching approach according to each child’s age, level, and learning needs.
I enjoy making lessons simple, interactive, and child-friendly. I encourage children to participate, ask questions, and practice what they have learned.
I can also provide homework support, holiday lessons, and general academic support.
My aim is to help children improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

My lessons are designed for primary-school children who want to improve their phonics, reading, English, mathematics and handwriting.
I use simple explanations, phonics sounds, blending practice, repetition, pictures, questions and age-appropriate activities to make learning interactive and enjoyable.
For children learning to read, I focus on letter sounds, blending, CVC words, sight words, sentence reading, spelling and reading confidence.
For Mathematics, I help children understand concepts through clear explanations and practical examples.
Each lesson is adapted to the child’s age, ability and individual learning needs. My goal is to help every child understand what they are learning, improve gradually and become a more confident learner.
