About Chloe
I am a USA-based female online violin tutor with 8 years of live teaching experience helping K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year students, and beginner musicians improve their string instrument skills. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in String Performance Studies and later joined professional training workshops focused on beginner orchestra education and online music teaching strategies. I have worked with students preparing for school orchestra performances, beginner competitions, recitals, and personal music development goals. I enjoy helping students build confidence through supportive and structured violin instruction designed for long-term musical growth!
I received the “Emerald Bow Artistic Leadership Medal” and the “Young Strings Performance Excellence Award” for supporting beginner violin students through creative online teaching programs and performance preparation coaching. I believe students improve best when lessons feel supportive, organized, and motivating. My teaching approach combines technical guidance, encouraging communication, performance preparation, and creative musical activities that help students stay excited about learning. I also enjoy sharing real experiences from rehearsals, orchestra preparation, and musical performances to help students understand the practical side of violin learning!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy floral watercolor painting, countryside travel photography, café reading sessions, handmade candle crafting, weekend farmers market visits, and attending chamber music festivals across the USA. I love exploring beautiful string arrangements, learning modern teaching ideas, and designing engaging lesson activities for younger learners. My goal is always to create online violin lessons that are welcoming, educational, and confidence-building while helping students enjoy the rewarding experience of learning music through personalized one-to-one instruction!

Welcome to my online one-to-one violin lessons for K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year students, and beginner musicians across the USA! My lessons are designed to help students feel comfortable while learning violin techniques in a supportive and encouraging environment. I teach beginner and intermediate violin students using personalized lesson plans based on their experience level, musical interests, and goals. Students are welcome to send performance material, orchestra music, or practice topics before class so I can organize customized lessons that support their musical growth and confidence development during live online sessions!
In my lessons, students learn violin posture, bow control, rhythm training, intonation improvement, hand coordination, music reading, and expressive performance techniques. I also teach Viola basics, beginner Cello understanding, orchestral preparation, string ensemble support, ear training, and musical interpretation exercises. Students can explore classical beginner music, cinematic melodies, contemporary string arrangements, school orchestra preparation, and creative performance activities. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, calm encouragement, and step-by-step demonstrations that help students improve steadily while building confidence through supportive practice routines!
For students preparing for recitals, orchestra performances, school concerts, beginner competitions, or music programs, I provide organized practice schedules, technique exercises, revision support, and mock performance preparation. I focus on helping students improve timing, musical expression, posture consistency, tone quality, and stage confidence through structured learning methods. I also guide students on how to practice effectively at home using manageable routines that support steady improvement and reduce frustration during independent practice sessions. My lessons are interactive, positive, and designed to encourage long-term musical growth and enjoyment!
My online one-to-one live violin lessons are beginner-friendly and carefully structured for students of all ages. I help students improve technical skills while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and expressive musical performance. I understand that younger students may feel nervous while learning string instruments, so I use supportive communication and motivational teaching methods during lessons. Parents appreciate my patient teaching style and organized lesson planning because I focus on making music learning enjoyable, encouraging, and confidence-building for every learner.
