About Jasmine
I am 23 years old and recently graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a B.S in aerospace engineering. I had planned on taking a gap year after college to teach English in China for a year before I continue my graduate studies in Human Factors. However, those plans have been put on hold for an unknown period of time because of coronavirus. In the meantime, I am looking to teach English online to continue preparing for China.

I believe that the best way to improve English fluency is to have conversations about your daily life, focusing on expressing ideas, feelings, and thoughts. First and foremost, I am very patient and love to get to know new people. Having this approach has allowed my students to feel comfortable speaking English around me. Focusing on the conversation will allow you to gain confidence, make friends, and communicate with new friends in English outside of the classroom.
