My tutoring approach is individualized, patient, and strengths-based—I meet each student where they are and design lessons to build both skills and confidence.
A typical session begins with a review of prior concepts or skills, followed by targeted instruction using strategies that support the student’s learning profile. Lessons often include step-by-step guidance, visual aids, interactive activities, and practical tools to improve organization, focus, and problem-solving. We end with reflection and goal-setting to reinforce learning and track progress.
What sets me apart is my expertise in adapting instruction to each student’s needs, combining academic support with executive functioning strategies so students not only learn content, but also develop skills to manage tasks, stay organized, and gain independence. My lessons are ideal for students of any grade level who may need additional support with learning disabilities, executive functioning, or other challenges affecting academic performance.

Jess has been fantastic!! She has been helping my daughter out tremendously with math. The older my daughter gets, the less I feel I could help her because it is so different from how I was taught! Jess goes step by step and guides my daughter with such grace and patience. She is very knowledgable in the content she teaches, personalizes word problems with things my daughter is interested in, and is helping my daughter grow her confidence in math again! I recommend Jess to anyone!
Jessica was an incredible tutor for my child! Jessica’s special education expertise made all the difference—she tailored lessons to my child’s learning style and helped them gain confidence and mastery in math and reading. Her patience, knowledge, and engaging approach made each session productive and enjoyable. With her guidance, my child not only improved academically but also developed stronger problem-solving skills and independence. I would highly recommend Jessica to any family seeking a skilled and dedicated tutor.
