About Katie

Children = creative, ambitious and inspiring! Just one reason why I love my job as a primary school teacher. It is such a privilege to help shape the minds of the future.
I have been teaching for over 20 years now and still think that it is the best job in the world!
When I am not teaching, I like to find time to enjoy my recently-found hobby of roller-skating. Life is too short to not do the things that make you smile. I firmly believe that any task that needs doing can be made fun...and when you're laughing, the results are usually better!

About the lesson

Do you need a fun approach to learning? Are there some aspects of school that you find tricky and don't enjoy? I can help you! I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 20 years of experience. I have taught children from nursery age through to Year 6. I will adapt sessions for whatever you need and ensure that you enjoy your learning. Why should school work be boring?
Maths a bit tricky? Struggling with early reading and phonics? Need help to up-level your writing or understanding of English grammar? No problem! I can help. I love my job and look forward to showing you how easy, and fun, learning can be. Everything is better when we are enjoying ourselves so I plan my lessons with this in mind.
Get in touch to see how we can plan fully-personalised sessions that will work for you. I guarantee it will help you improve, make your learning easier and put a smile on your face.
