Patient, encouraging, gentle and exceptionally dedicated - French tutor with Nolwenn

Nolwenn tutored me on Skype for my final year of French A-level. Nolwenn is an organised, patient and kind tutor; every mistake is noticed and gently but methodically corrected until it is learnt. She also makes the lessons enjoyable, interesting and well-worth the time. Under Nolwenn, my confidence, fluency, range of vocab and grammar in French improved immeasurably. I would highly recommend her as a tutor.

I have been having French lessons with Nolwenn for just over two years using Skype. This works very well as Nolwenn lives in England and I live in France. Nolwenn has always been extremely patient and supportive at all times. Her lessons are well prepared, structured and are nearly always fun. Despite the fact that my achievements in this subject at school were hopeless and that I had not spoken a word of French for over fifty years, Nolwenn has managed to enable me to understand much more of the language than I ever imagined possible, which is very useful living in France, as I do. I cannot recommend Nolwenn highly enough as she is an absolutely brilliant teacher.

Nolwenn is an excellent French teacher. She adapts her lessons to each of her students and is incredibly patient. She is always prepared and even writes her own materials. Lessons with her are always interesting and varied, with a special focus on spoken language which will help you communicate with native speakers in no time!

Skype lessons with Nolwenn have markedly improved my french conversation and comprehension. Initially I was unsure how Skype would work but in fact it is remarkably effective, and now we often dispense with video. Nolwenn's style is to blend well designed and structured exercises for grammar and expressions, with plenty of opportunity for practice in more general conversation, a very effective method. Additionally she always provides useful follow up notes and reminder exercises to reinforce your learning, practice your pronunciation. Most importantly, Nolwenn is skilled in giving you the confidence which motivates you to progress further.
