About Katy
I’m friendly, approachable and passionate about helping people learn. I run my own independent fashion brand, where I focus on sustainability and enjoy exploring new upcycling techniques. I also frequently attend creative workshops and love learning new skills myself.
Alongside this, I work for a children’s art company, leading and assisting art workshops and afterschool clubs, which has strengthened my communication skills and ability to adapt to different learners. I bring the same creativity, patience, and encouragement to my maths tutoring, helping students build confidence while enjoying the learning process.

Hi! I’m Katy, a Mathematics graduate with a First Class BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Mathematics, offering one-to-one maths tutoring to people of all ages and capabilities.
I have a calm, patient and encouraging approach, and I focus on building confidence as well as understanding. I believe maths doesn’t have to feel intimidating - with the right explanations and support, it can become much more manageable and even enjoyable.
Alongside my academic background, I have experience working with children and young people in creative and educational settings, which has strengthened my communication skills and adaptability. I’m particularly confident supporting students who may feel anxious or lack confidence in maths.
