About Jaida Mae
Hi! I’m a passionate and approachable tutor with a unique perspective on learning. As someone who is neurodivergent, I understand how challenging traditional classroom environments can be — I used to struggle at school myself. But once I found learning methods that actually worked for me, everything changed. I went on to achieve Grade 8s in GCSE English Literature, English Language, and Religious Education — subjects I now love helping others succeed in. My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I believe that no one learns the same way — so I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable, engaging chunks. Whether it’s analysing poems, I make sure students not only understand the material, but build confidence in their own abilities. I have a strong grasp of the GCSE curriculum and exam board requirements, and I love using practical tools and strategies that helped me succeed — especially with things like time management, memory techniques, and how to revise effectively. As someone closer in age to most students, I can explain things in a relatable way and create a relaxed space where they feel heard, supported, and motivated. Although I’m just starting out with formal tutoring, I’ve helped classmates and younger students improve their grades, and I’m genuinely excited to support others through their own journeys.
