Hello! I'm Julia Marie, a native Filipino and Tagalog speaker who is passionate about helping students achieve their language-learning goals. Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I take every lesson seriously and am committed to providing a professional, well-prepared, and supportive learning experience.

Hi! I'm Julia Marie, a native Filipino and Tagalog speaker who is passionate about helping students learn Tagalog in a fun, practical, and supportive environment. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to match your goals, learning style, and pace. Whether you're learning Tagalog for school, work, travel, connecting with family, or simply out of personal interest, I'm here to help you gain confidence every step of the way.
My teaching approach focuses on interactive learning rather than memorization. I use real-life conversations, vocabulary-building exercises, pronunciation practice, grammar explanations, reading passages, and writing activities to help students understand how Tagalog is naturally spoken and used. I encourage questions and provide a relaxed atmosphere where making mistakes is part of the learning process.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics, followed by introducing new vocabulary or grammar in a simple and easy-to-understand way. We then practice through guided conversations, role-playing, reading, or writing exercises before ending with a summary and optional practice activities to reinforce what you've learned.
