About Olivia
Hi! I’m Olivia, a detail-oriented and patient tutor based in Calgary, Alberta with a strong background in math, physics, and analytical problem-solving. I’ve always enjoyed explaining scientific ideas in simple, practical ways and helping students gain confidence with every lesson. My passion for Physics comes from seeing how it connects theory to the real world — from motion and forces to energy and everyday technology. My approach to teaching Physics is all about clarity, connection, and confidence. I believe students learn best when complex concepts are broken into simple, visual steps and linked to real-life examples they can relate to.
Each lesson starts by reviewing what the student already knows, identifying gaps, and setting a clear goal for the session. I use diagrams, everyday analogies, and guided practice problems to make sure students truly understand the principles before moving on.
A typical class includes:

Step-by-step explanation of a new concept (e.g., motion, forces, or energy)

Summary & key takeaways to reinforce understanding
