About Ria
I am an English Language and Linguistics graduate and I have been tutoring for 5 years. I teach Maths and English from KS1 and Phonics to GCSE level (all exam boards). I also teach A Level English Language (all exam boards). I have been trained in National Curriculum teaching methods and have experience teaching pupils of mixed abilities, ages and learning needs. I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor and a firm believer that every student has the potential to succeed. Each student has their own unique abilities and I always tailor my approach to provide lessons that best fit each individual student’s academic needs. I support my students to learn and progress at their own pace, help them build their confidence and embrace their curiosity by creating a positive, fun and professional learning environment.

I teach one-to-one online lessons for Phonics, KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE Maths and English. I also tutor A Level English Language and English Literature. In my first lesson, I assess my student's level of understanding of the subject and then I deliver lessons based on their strengths and weaknesses. I can help with exam preparation for Maths and English SATs, GCSE, National 4, National 5, 11 plus and 13 plus.
