As an adult student, I needed someone to help me get back into playing the violin after a long break and with Anna I have seen huge improvements in both my playing and my confidence.

Anna is always supportive, patient and encouraging. Not only are my lessons enjoyable and fun, Anna has structured them to help build technique and skill, always taking the time to help me with challenging pieces and break down complex techniques into manageable steps. Every lesson feels productive and you can see your progress week on week. You can also see the care and time that Anna puts in to finding music pieces that she knows her students will enjoy learning.

Anna is a super patient and very dedicated teacher. My sons loved having lessons with her, and have gone on to study Music at university. Anna has passed on her passion for violin and Music.

Anna is the "real deal"… the perfect mix of enthusiasm, encouragement and attention to detail combined with just the right amount of firmness (with both pupil and parent!).

Every lesson is packed with careful feedback and new content. Her comprehensive practice notes have been invaluable in ensuring my son's practice is productive.

I have been amazed at her commitment to support my son during the Covid-19 lockdown, continuing lessons on Skype and providing email / text feedback in between lessons.

Anna is a amazing with teaching boys generally across different subjects such as Math, English, Social Studies, Music Theory, Reading and Writing. She masters an artful balance between patience, discipline and making learning fun and interesting for boys.
