About Jun Roy
I’m Roy, a post-SPM 2024 student and a top scorer with a GPC of 0.33. Sejarah has always been one of my strongest subjects—I’ve never missed an A+ in any school exam! My passion for teaching started when I helped my friends who struggled with Sejarah. Many found it boring, too hard to memorize, or difficult because of BM. But Sejarah isn’t about memorizing—it’s about understanding the story behind the events. I explain history in a simple, storytelling way, making it easier to learn and remember. After my lessons, my friends finally understood and improved, and now I want to help more students do the same!

Teaching Focus: I make Sejarah engaging by turning it into a story rather than just facts to memorize. My approach helps students truly understand historical events, making them easier to recall and apply in exams. By focusing on connections, causes, and impacts, students develop a deeper grasp of the subject. Languages: English, Mandarin, Malay. Flexible Topics: Students choose weak topics instead of strict chapter order. Lesson Materials: Notes provided for better understanding. Lesson Duration: 1 hour per session. Class Mode: Online (Google Meet / Zoom) Experience: Helped friends improve in Sejarah; understands SPM questions well as a 2024 post-SPM student. Target Students: Form 4 & Form 5 students preparing for SPM.

I believe in keeping lessons effective and engaging. Preferred lesson duration is 1 hour, as it allows students to absorb information without feeling overwhelmed. If needed, lessons can be extended to a maximum of 2 hours, but beyond that, focus may start to drift. Quality learning matters more than long hours!
