About Tvara
Hi! My name is Tvara, and I’m a Health Science student at McMaster University with a strong passion for helping others understand science and math in a clear, supportive, and enjoyable way. I believe that every student is capable of mastering challenging concepts when they’re explained with patience, structure, and real-world context. I’ve developed my teaching approach through a mix of academic experience, research projects, and mentoring roles. This has taught me how to break complex ideas into simple steps, tailor lessons to different learning styles, and create an encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions. As a tutor, I’m committed to being reliable, organized, and fully present for each student I work with. I always strive to make lessons engaging, approachable, and focused on real understanding, not memorization.
