About Aarthi
Hello! I'm Aarthi, a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in Mathematics and the IB PYP framework. I specialize in teaching Math and Units of Inquiry (UOI) for primary years, with a focus on building conceptual understanding, inquiry skills, and real-world connections. With a Bachelor's and Master's in Mathematics, along with a B.Ed. degree, I bring both academic depth and creative strategies to my lessons. My classes are interactive, personalized, and engaging, ensuring every child learns with confidence and curiosity. Learning will be fun, meaningful, and student-centered! I offer interactive online sessions focused on Math and UOI (Units of Inquiry) aligned with the IB PYP curriculum and inquiry-based learning approach.
Each class is tailored to meet the individual needs and pace of the student. In Math, we explore concepts through visual aids, real-life examples, puzzles, and problem-solving strategies that help build strong foundational understanding. For UOI, I guide students through transdisciplinary themes, encouraging them to ask questions, make connections, and develop critical thinking and research skills.
Whether your child needs help with core concepts, confidence building, or enrichment, my goal is to create a safe space where they feel supported, challenged, and inspired. I also provide regular feedback to parents and use creative tools like presentations, videos, and activities to keep the lessons lively and effective.
