About Mae
With 12 years of experience teaching guitar to students from school to college, I am passionate about sharing my love for music and helping others discover their musical potential. Over the years, I’ve guided many students from beginners to advanced players, helping them achieve their goals, whether it’s learning to play their favourite songs or mastering complex guitar techniques. My approach is centred around clear communication, patience, and flexibility, ensuring every student learns at their own pace. I believe in fostering a positive and motivating environment where students can feel confident in their progress. One of my proudest milestones is seeing students grow not only as musicians but as passionate guitar players who continue to explore their craft. Teaching guitar isn’t just about learning chords and scales; it’s about building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology for guitar is based on Communication, Integrity, and Flexibility. I believe in clear and open communication with my students, ensuring they understand every lesson step by step. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their challenges. Integrity is key in my approach, where I teach with honesty, offering constructive feedback to help students grow. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style and pace, making the process enjoyable and effective. In addition to guitar, I also offer lessons in related subjects, making sure students develop a well-rounded musical understanding.
