About Norah
I am a French language tutor with 7 years of experience and a Master of Arts in French Studies. I have taught over 200 students from absolute beginners to advanced speakers pursuing professional, academic, and personal language goals. My lessons cover conversational French, grammar, pronunciation, cultural immersion, travel language, and DELF examination preparation. My French lessons are immersive, conversational, and culturally enriched from the very first session. Every lesson begins with a warm-up speaking exercise to build fluency and confidence immediately and identify specific areas to develop during the session. Grammar is introduced in context through real conversations, authentic cultural scenarios, and meaningful dialogues so students see immediately how rules function in natural French usage. Pronunciation and accent training are woven into every lesson using phonetic drills, liaisons practice, and comparison with native French audio recordings. Cultural exploration through French cinema, music, cuisine, literature, and current affairs deepens understanding and maintains strong student motivation throughout the course. DELF exam students receive comprehensive systematic preparation across all tested skills including reading, writing, listening, and oral production with regular mock exercises. Advanced students work on sophisticated vocabulary, complex grammar, and nuanced expression through articles, literary texts, and structured debates. Beginner and intermediate students build natural fluency through graduated conversation challenges and thematic vocabulary development by topic. I use authentic French audio and video materials throughout to develop natural listening comprehension alongside speaking and writing skills. My goal is for every student to speak French with genuine fluency, natural accent, and authentic cultural appreciation.
