About Shalane
Hi! I’m Shalane, a passionate and dedicated Filipino Education student teacher who enjoys helping learners develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence in Filipino.
As an aspiring educator, I have gained valuable experience in preparing lessons, creating learning activities, facilitating discussions, and supporting students with different learning needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I strive to make my lessons clear, engaging, patient, and student-centered.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to create a comfortable learning environment where they feel confident asking questions, sharing their ideas, and making progress at their own pace.

Hello! I’m Shalane, a passionate and dedicated Filipino Education student teacher who believes that learning becomes more meaningful when lessons are engaging, understandable, and connected to students’ experiences.
My Teaching Approach
I use a student-centered and interactive teaching approach. I adjust my teaching strategies according to each learner’s level, needs, interests, and learning pace. I use clear explanations, examples, guided practice, discussions, questioning, activities, and short assessments to help students understand the lesson rather than simply memorize information.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up activity to connect the new topic with what the student already knows. I then introduce and explain the lesson using simple examples. Afterward, we work through activities or exercises together, followed by guided and independent practice. I also provide feedback and clarification before ending the lesson with a short recap or assessment to check the student’s understanding.

As a Filipino Education student teacher, I understand the importance of patience, communication, and adapting lessons to different learners. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can confidently ask questions and express their ideas. I also incorporate creative and practical activities to make Filipino lessons more interesting and easier to understand.
