About Rylie
I am a passionate and dedicated educator who believes that every student has the ability to succeed with the right support and encouragement. With experience working in education, I understand the importance of creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their skills.
I am patient, dependable, and committed to adapting my teaching style to meet each student's individual needs. I take the time to understand where a student is struggling and develop lessons that are clear, engaging, and easy to understand. My goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming while helping students build both their academic skills and confidence.

My approach to teaching English is centered around making students feel comfortable, confident and supported while they learn. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging and connected to their individual interests and goals. I use a combination of conversation, reading and writing exercises, grammar practices, and hands-on activities to make lessons interactive rather than simply lecture-based.
A typical lesson begins with a short review or conversation to see what the student already knows and identify areas that may need additional attention. We then focus on the main skill for the lesson, such as reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary or communication. I provide examples and work through activities with the student before allowing them to practice independently. We finish by reviewing what was learned and identifying something they can continue practicing on their own.
What sets me apart is my experience as an educator and my ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and personalities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on patience, encouragement and finding ways to make English feel approachable and useful. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident in their ability to communicate and use English.
My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who need additional support with English. I can help students with reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, homework and general English skills. I am also happy to adjust lessons based on each student's specific class requirements, learning level and individual goals.
