To whom it may concern,
I have known Tia as a friend for the past 12 years. Tia and I met as gymnasts, training in the same club. Her kindness and openness are what drew us closer together. As a teammate, she was always there to support me if ever I was not succeeding at a specific movement. During competitions, she was always there to cheer me on and offer kind words of support. I could always come to her for personal advice, and she would always know what to say to resolve a difficult situation.
Since 2019, I have had the privilege to work with Tia side by side as a gymnastics coach. As a coach, Tia goes above and beyond any expectations, not only teaching the children gymnastics skills, but helping them build their character to be confident and hardworking athletes. On rare occasions, when a gymnast comes to practice upset, Tia always knows what to say to comfort her and motivate her to enjoy the practice. Her delivery of corrections is gentle, but very constructive, in a way that allows the students to understand exactly how to perform their movement successfully. Our gymnastics club is a diverse environment, with children of different cultures, speaking different languages. There have been situations when new students arrive without speaking any English or French. Yet Tia is still able to deliver concise instructions, for example through demonstrations. It is obvious that the gymnasts love having her as a coach and look up to her as a role model.
I highly recommend Tia Ghabbour as a tutor, as I am sure she will be able to be an incredible positive influence on any student.
