About Patrick Ludwig
Hello, I'm Patrick, a dedicated PhD researcher at the University of Sheffield specialising in Controls Engineering. With a solid academic background including a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton and a postgraduate masters in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my tutoring sessions.
My motivation as a tutor stems from a genuine passion for learning, a desire to help others succeed, and a personal connection to Maths.

In both Maths and French, I promise to provide stimulating and interactive yet instructive lessons to help you feel comfortable while making progress in your studies. Having navigated the IB diploma, studying French and Maths at High Level, I'm intimately familiar with the curriculum and exam requirements.
My tutoring experience extends to tutoring GCSE French to a year 9 student and guiding another student through Maths at year 6 level. As a bilingual individual with French as my first language, I offer unique insight and expertise in both subjects.
In my lessons, I prioritise an engaging and participatory approach, encouraging students to actively express themselves and ask questions. I believe in setting assignments after each session to reinforce learning and maintain student engagement. My goal is to create a supportive environment where intellectual exchange flourishes, fostering deeper understanding and growth.
