About Alejandra
My name is Alejandra Saavedra, or Ms. Saavedra in the classroom, and have been teaching kindergarten for 2 years! I love having fun with my students during our instructional time by establishing content units relevant to their interests. I like to help my students succeed and will make sure to provide you with the necessary tools to meet your learning goals. Three things I enjoy outside of teaching include playing with my dog, drawing/painting, and going to beach to get some sunshine. I look forward to getting to know you!

During my lessons, students are able to engage in songs, Total Physical Response (TPR) movements, and differentiated learning material depending on their instructional goals and progress monitoring data. Learning should be fun and student-centered which is why I make developing positive relationships a priority when working with students and their support systems. I am excited to continue learning, developing, and building strong ELA foundational skills with you! These lessons/classes will be geared towards elementary students grades TK-6. I hope to meet you all soon!
