About Joseph
I am a recent graduate of St Andrews, now working in tech. While at university, I became familiar with a number of related fields, including physics, computer science, and statistics.
During my free time and at several internships, I have volunteered myself to assist others with their first steps in programming, usually directly or indirectly requiring mathematical tuition.
I am extremely passionate about mathematics education and I truly believe in making it as enjoyable as possible. While not all aspects of learning can be made fun, I always shift the focus to the end goal to ensure students are engaged at every step of the way.

I'm open to working with any student from GCSEs to undergraduate, and planning lessons to realise the most of their abilities. I aim to make lessons as enjoyable and as engaging as possible, so that the student not only learns the lesson content itself, but discovers a real passion for mathematics, and is able to become more independent over time.
I would be delighted to teach in any topic in mathematics and statistics (even delving into computer science or physics if needed). I am open to teaching for any period of time on weekdays after 3pm, or weekends after 11am. I am happy to teach both online and in person.
