Hey there! I’m a current 8th grade math teacher with 4 years of classroom experience and a degree in Public Health from the University of Houston. But here’s the real story—I actually failed algebra in college. Now? I teach it. Why? Because I get it. Math can be frustrating, confusing, and just plain intimidating… but it doesn’t have to be. I believe in a growth mindset: if I can learn to love math, so can you. My lessons are driven by your data—so we focus on what you actually need help with, not just busy work.
