Paola has been teaching me for just over two years, taking me from someone trying to get some basic Italian phrases using Babbel/Duolingo on the internet to what I understand is level B1, described as "Intermediate level". I have been very impressed. She follows a course, but draws on a wide range of sources and materials, developing listening and speaking skills alongside the reading and learning of structure of the language. The learning is in the context of a range of subjects, from music and culture through news and topical issues in the media, so it is always interesting.
Paola is passionate about teaching, and that enthusiasm comes through in the lessons and the follow up.

Paola has been my Spanish tutor for more than 3 years and we have also become friends. She was recommended to me by a friend learning Italian. Her style is very much student led, she adapts the methods and classes to how the person learns and what they need to focus on.
