About Amanda
Hello! I'm Amanda, a certified elementary educator with four years of classroom teaching experience working with students from Pre-K through 4th grade. I hold a Master's degree in Teaching, am LETRS certified, and have earned my Gifted Endorsement. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, achieve their goals, and discover a love of learning.
I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to fit their individual needs, strengths, and learning style. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to get ahead, or is being homeschooled, I create engaging, encouraging lessons that make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I specialize in English, including reading, phonics, grammar, writing, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. My goal is to help every student feel successful, build confidence, and develop skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom.

My lessons are personalized to meet each student's unique learning style, goals, and pace. I use engaging, hands-on teaching methods that build confidence while making learning enjoyable. Whether we're working on reading comprehension, phonics, grammar, writing, vocabulary, or speaking skills, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previously learned material, followed by direct instruction on a new concept. Students then practice the skill through interactive activities, games, guided exercises, or reading passages before ending with a summary and feedback to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my four years of elementary teaching experience, LETRS certification, and Gifted Endorsement. As a certified educator, I understand how to adapt lessons for different learning needs and use research-based strategies to help students succeed. My patient, encouraging approach helps learners build both skills and confidence.
