I am Tess! I am a current primary teacher in South East London and love to engage my students in fun and creative ways. I think a strong relationship is at the core of academic success, so I hope to learn about you (the student!) and work as a partnership towards your goals. I recently moved over from Canada, so I am adaptable and flexible when needed!

With a strong background in teaching Kindergarten and Year 1, I have developed a nurturing, engaging approach that supports young learners at the beginning of their educational journey. My expertise spans core subjects including Maths, English, and Phonics, with a focus on building strong foundational skills through creative, child-centred learning. I am open to 20-30 minutes long lessons as I believe these are the most beneficial to young learners. I am happy to schedule longer lessons as well.
