Teaching techniques and methods are depend on schooling level but the basic teaching in grammar is (GTM)
Grammar Translation Method: This traditional approach focuses on teaching grammar rules and vocabulary through translation exercises. It involves a lot of rote memorization and drills.
And if i talk about literature there are 2 good ways in teaching students
1. Text to World connections
2. Literature Circles
1. Text-to-World Connections emphasizes the connections between the literary text and the world outside the classroom. Students are encouraged to explore how the themes and issues in the text relate to real-world problems and situations.
2. Literature Circles involves small group discussions of literary texts, with each group member taking on a specific role or responsibility. This can help to develop critical thinking, reading comprehension, and communication skills.
By my way these are some best way to teach students of both schooling level primary and secondary.
