About Darcy
I am a Part C Loughborough University student on track for the Dean's Gold Award for Economics and Management course overall, having achieved it in Part B as well. I currently am on placement at a mid-market private credit firm. Outside of work and studies, I am fascinated by nature and love to try new things. I go to the gym, run and play sports weekly and look forward to meeting new people.

Lessons will be a back and forth thought-provoking focus - getting students to tackle questions and principles from different angles, which is imperative to getting marks in a subject like economics, that contains many subjective yet objective theories. I will then move to developing students' analytical-style evaluations, and how to begin answers with the understanding of how to best evaluate at the end, hence framing essays in such a way to collect a minimum of high marks consistently. Throughout this methodology, content-based learning will be both passive and active, with an open-discussion style approach used to challenge students into achieving the highest grades possible. These principles of learning and angles of tackling Economics have allowed me to excel in the subject for the last 7 years and counting, and will be passed onto my Tutees.
