About Aashirwad
I am a doctoral candidate in Sociology from Cotton University. I did my post-graduation from Gauhati University. Ever since my internship in UNDP, Guwahati in 2017, I have been in love with social sciences, especially sociology. I feel it is an amazing tool to live our life, don't you? If not, perhaps I can help change the perspective and actualize this subject.
I have cleared UGC NET and NE SLET as well as have a UGC Care listed publication on Football fan culture, religion and sub-nationalism. I have published a couple of blog articles on Doing Sociology as well.
Apart from academics, I am into football (massively). A Liverpool fan, and a capo for the Highlander Brigade, the supporters' organisation for North East United Football Club.

Sociology should never be in the confines of the wall. But here we are, in a virtual institution. I have no specific technique or method. They lead to constraints. My idea is to talk about sociology as we talk about life over a cup of tea. Everything that we see, observe, hear and comprehend can be studied sociologically.
The more we simplify our approach towards this subject, the more refined our observation and analysis are. My job is to train you to extract knowledge from our common sense and drop them in the pool of Sociology. Simplicity is elegant, let us keep sociology simple.
