About Amy
I have been a lifelong artist since my high school years. I love to do soft sculpture art, acrylic paintings, combining painting with fiber art. I have found a very satisfying media using fiber art, along with weaving. Although it is challenging, the end product is most rewarding. I usually turn to art in order to calm myself. I use different artistic media, including drawing, painting, and textile art.
I also enjoy writing and doing research papers since it challenges my mind. It’s interesting to come up with a method of writing and expressing the theme of my research paper. In my spare time, I love to listen to audio books.I prefer to listen rather read my books so that I am free to create my art while I “read.”
I have found that expressing one’s self through art, is an effective media in art therapy.

My lessons will start from the beginning of painting. To form different shapesand then to gradually add color and texture to find the end product. This method is the basic foundation in most art medias. How one applies it is the interesting outcome.
