About Rosa
Although I am currently studying Music as a degree, essay writing is an integral part of the course as we have to write 2 essays on different topics each week, amongst other tasks.
English was one of my favourite subjects at school and I am an avid reader - my room is completely stuffed with books!
I'd love to use my knowledge and understanding to help anyone struggling with this subject.
I am friendly, patient and my teaching style is clear and focussed. I'm always open to comments from students about what learning styles suit them best and think that communication is really important to building the most productive and fun student-tutor experience.

I am flexible and encouraging - whatever areas you need help we can work through them together. We will go at the right pace for your learning and you can ask me any questions any time!

For all ages, particularly those studying for GCSE's and A levels.
I achieved an A* for English GSCE and an A* for A level English Literature and have a strong understanding of the exam process and the knowledge that students are expected to have.

Rosa as a teacher is great fun and highly reliable. She has taught young children but would be equally good with adults who want to improve or learn to play a new instrument.
Rosa secured scholarships at all the main music colleges including the Royal Academy and the Royal College of music. In 2021 she took up a place to study music at Oxford University where she has recently performed solos with the acclaimed Isis ensemble. She is a currently a member of the Amadeus orchestra for talented young professionals and for many years she was first viola at Wells Cathedral Music School.
Rosa is an inspirational person - both in her music teaching, her performance and her overall approach to life. I can’t recommend her highly enough.It is my pleasure to recommend Rosa as an exceptional teacher. Currently studying music at Oxford, Rosa is the utmost talented academic professional.
