About Damayanti
I am a second year student studying PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) at the University of Oxford. I have been taught these three subjects at the highest calibre and have achieved stellar grades in my A levels in History, Economics, French, Maths and an AS level in English. I produced revision packs for each of these subjects, with a succinct course summary and 'cheat sheet' easy methods of getting A*s by producing exactly what the mark scheme asks for. The utility of these can be seen in the fact my school asked for and filed these resources to be reference guides for future year groups.

I give lessons to A level and GCSE students. My methodology is simple: exams should not involve massive hours piled into every single unit of a subject; succeeding in exams is finding the most efficient method of absorbing all of the relevant content and, most importantly, putting this content down in answers in exactly the way the mark scheme asks. By far the most common barrier to success in English exams is students trying to memorise too many quotations and not finding the time to practise essays that get full marks every time as a result. I can show students how to memorise a handful of quotations that will be useful for all questions and how to focus instead on writing perfect essays
