Hi! I’m Beth, a Maths graduate from the University of Oxford, and I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident with maths.
I know that maths can feel intimidating, but it really doesn’t have to! My aim is to make lessons relaxed, engaging and tailored to each student, so that they not only improve their grades but actually understand and enjoy the maths they’re doing.
I achieved full marks in both my Maths GCSE and A Level, and I’ve tutored students extensively across different levels and abilities. For example:
- Helped a GCSE student improve from a predicted 5 to a 7 in just 4 months
- Helped an A Level student improve from a predicted A to an A* in just 2 months
Whether you’re struggling with the basics, preparing for GCSE or A Level exams, retaking a GCSE, or aiming for the very top grades, I can adapt lessons to what you need.
I also run the YouTube channel Maths Unboxed, where you can get a feel for my teaching style before booking a lesson!
If you’re looking for a friendly, enganging tutor who can deliver results and make maths feel much less scary (and dare I say fun?!), I’d love to help.

Beth helped my daughter get a 9 in GCSE maths last year, her help was invaluable and we are very grateful. There was a marked difference in my daughter's confidence and attainment after having lessons with Beth. Recommend highly.
Beth is a fantastic maths communicator - she explains concepts clearly and in an engaging way! I couldn't recommend a better tutor.
