About Omar
I am a driven student myself, currently studying at the University of Oxford. I attended Winchester College, one of the oldest and highest achieving schools in the UK. I am friendly and easy to talk to, but I am keen to focus on the work itself during our hours. I have found that tutors often spend a lot of time chatting etc which is not good value for money. I used to be a professional chorister, performing in the Royal Wedding, the Proms, on tour in various countries etc. I can tailor my teaching to various preferred styles and can offer access to resources that were shared with me during my own education and which helped me perform as I did-these include teacher made Quizlet sets, revision guidelines, syllabus shortcuts etc. At IGCSE, I received straight A*s, studying all three sciences, Maths, English, French, German, Latin and Music. I completed the Cambridge Maths Pre-U (like A levels, but harder) in a year as opposed to the usual two years, obtaining an A/A*. I also studied History, French and Latin. I am currently in my second year at Jesus College, Oxford, studying Law with French Law (One of the courses with the lowest undergraduate acceptance rates).

My teaching methodology is simple. There is a belief that some sort of perfect teaching style exists. Having been educated by some of the best teachers out there in secondary education, the majority of whom had doctorates, I could not describe any one optimum teaching style-they were all so different. Teaching requires patience and the ability to listen then tailor your style to the individual, or individuals with whom you find yourself. It requires you to make what you are saying/showing exciting and impressing. This is what I will provide.
