About Hannah
Hi there, wonderful to be in touch! My name is Hannah, and I recently graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University with a degree in History. I am a dedicated and professional tutor with a strong commitment to education and student success. Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated a breadth of experience that underscores my qualifications. For over a year, I volunteered as a tutor at HMP Onley, where I taught Maths and English to 16-18-year-old young offenders. I am also TEFL qualified, allowing me to effectively teach English as a foreign language, a certification I found incredibly rewarding while travelling and volunteering abroad during my gap year. At Trinity College, Oxford, I served as an Access Representative, touring school groups and conducting Oxbridge admissions help lessons, further demonstrating my commitment to educational outreach and support. Indeed, as President of Oxford Women in Business, I established a mentorship scheme within three local state schools to provide Oxbridge admissions assistance to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to tailor my teaching methods to each student's unique needs, fostering both understanding and confidence.
