About Henry
I graduated with a First in History from Somerville College, Oxford in 2020 and am due to return to Oxford to study for an MPhil in Russian and East European Studies in 2021. Since graduating I have tutored many GCSE and A-Level students in History and English, as well as coaching some for Oxbridge admissions tests/interviews.

My lessons have always been tailored to the needs of the individual student, and I am a firm opponent of a one-size-fits-all approach to teaching. Learning should be engaging and relevant, but most of all it should feel natural for the student. Whilst lessons would usually be based around learning materials like past papers etc, there should always be some emphasis placed on the student’s capacity to think freely and articulate their thoughts independent of prescribed resources.
