About Joel
I am a current DPhil student at Oxford completing my thesis in the philosophy of religion. I have worked in the education sector for many years, having tutored for seven years, and worked as a resource creator and consultant at two education start-ups alongside my studies. I have taught a diverse variety of students from pre-school to master's level in English, Philosophy, Theology, and entrance exam preparation. During this time I have taught classes of up to 30 students and helped many pupils fulfil their educational aspirations.

Having taken on students from a broad range of backgrounds, ages, and abilities I understand that each student requires a unique approach to enable them to flourish. After an initial consultation lesson, I develop a course of lessons which I discuss with the student and discuss how we are to proceed. I value regular feedback and adjust my teaching strategy according to the student's progression.
