Gabriela made me rethink what teachers should aspire to do. For over 2 years, she helped me build confidence in myself and my abilities. She saw that Chemistry wasn't just a subject to me and that I cared about my results. I started becoming more responsible, healthier, and happier while doing a subject that I used to stress about, and I'm really proud of the scholar I am today. It was only possible because of her commitment to me.

Gabriela was my teach in sixth-form back in 2016-2018 — so impactful was her teaching style, knowledge and support that almost 9 years later I'm RUSHING to leave a review.

She has such an engaging method of teaching, and played a huge role in why I later pursued biochemistry at university. She also pays attention to every student, to ensure each person is keeping up to speed. If they aren't, she'll find different ways of teaching, so the student can fully understand.

Beyond this, she always supported me emotionally when times were tough, and when it was difficult to balance the stress of school work. Overall, an intelligent, talented teacher who genuinely cares about the students she teaches!

Dr Gabriela Quintero was my sixth form chemistry teacher from 2018-2020, she was adored by our class and put countless hours (sometimes thankless hours from us ungrateful kids!) of effort into our tuition. She drilled the principles of A level chemistry into us such that by the end of the course it was all second nature. I could probably do a titration even now! Would thoroughly recommend her teachings, she’s a star!

She was my teacher for 2 years for chemistry. She was, without exaggeration, the best teacher I have ever had. Before her lessons, chemistry felt like just another subject filled with equations and memorisation, but the way she taught completely changed that for me. She had this ability to make even the most difficult concepts feel exciting and understandable, and her passion for chemistry was impossible not to catch. Every lesson felt engaging, and she created an environment where asking questions and being curious actually felt encouraged. She didn’t just teach chemistry, she made me genuinely fall in love with it. A huge part of the reason I developed such a strong interest and appreciation for science is because of her, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget the impact she had on me as both a student and a person.

Amazing teacher, and I cannot recommend her more highly. Gabriela is an excellent teacher, especially for visual learners, and is able to break down chemistry concepts to their very basics until you run out of questions. She is the reason I got into medical school!

I would highly recommend Dr. Quintero for to anyone aspiring to complete A-level Chemistry. She is an expert in the field and is really committed to ensure all her students develop a deep love for Chemistry. She inspired me to become a Chemical Engineer and helped me through an internship application in Canada, which was successful because of her.

Dr Quintero taught Chemistry at my Sixth Form leading half of my Chemistry classes, and doubled as my Form Tutor during my A-level period. Despite being a difficult student, frequently missing deadlines and struggling to engage with classes generally, Dr Quintero never gave up on me and made every Chemistry class one to look forward to. Her unique approaches to Form tutoring also made for an environment for students of all backgrounds to get comfortable initially and excel thereafter. Her raw passion for Chemistry is inspiring, and her approaches to teaching are unparalleled.

Amazing teacher, I am now a Masters student at Imperial but I did my Bachelors in Chemistry because of Dr Quintero! She taught me during my A-Levels and was one of the best teachers. When I first started class with her, I was not very good at Chemistry but then it quickly became my best and I ended up choosing to continue it at university
