About Will
Hello! My name is Will and I am currently tutoring exclusively UCAT applicants
I graduated from the university of Oxford in 2017 with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Since I have spent time in various roles, most notably as a Mathematics tutor (A level and GSCE), UKCAT tutor and as a Risk Analysis Senior Consultant at Deloitte.
***Please note I only tutor the 4 Mathematics and Logic sections out of the 5: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitive Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning
I do not tutor Situational judgement. I would advise seeking a medical specialist for this area, just as I advise seeking a Mathematics and Logic specialist such as myself for the aforementioned sections.***
My speciality has always been probability and statistical analysis. I have years of experience under my belt teaching maths skills and analysing and reporting on data of all kinds. This includes numerical data, text and pictorial data such as the patterns found in the Abstract Reasoning section.
I was introduced to the UCAT (or UKCAT as it was called then) in school when my friends were struggling to prepare for the exam themselves. I helped them to pass with flying colours and have since finetuned my approach to teaching this exam.

In lessons we will cover all question types to ensure knowledge of all possible scenarios. Familiarity and Comfortability is important in each part of the exam.
We will go through practice questions to teach standard strategies and to determine strengths, weaknesses and gaps in knowledge of the student.
Lessons will then be customised to address weak points, focus on areas requiring improvement and teach any base mathematics or logic knowledge which may be missing.

Will helped so much in areas I didn’t even realise I could improve in.
