About Jasmine
Hi I'm Jasmine and I've just finished my third year of geography at the University of Oxford! I achieved 4A*s in my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Geography and Chemistry, and I am passionate about education and helping students achieve their very best, taking personal pride in my students' achievements.
One of the most important targets in teaching is to help students enjoy their studies, as this is the first step to engaging and succeeding! My extensive experience in both classroom and one-to-one tutoring has established my knowledge around different teaching styles and the importance of finding what works for each individual. I believe a personalised approach is the most crucial aspect of tutoring, and I look forward to working with you.

For my teaching style, I tend to ask students to bring a piece of work they have struggled with in class to the session so we can effectively target learning. I like to work through past paper questions with students as I believe this gives the most useful and applicable outcome. However, each lesson is dependent on both the student and the topics being covered so each lesson could be quite different!
I have over 4 years of teaching experience, ranging from private tutoring to teaching in a classroom setting of around 15 students. This broad experience has allowed me to effectively adapt my teaching style to different students so we can get the most out of your learning.
I teach A-Level, GCSE and KS3 Maths and Geography.
