About Arif
Arif is graduate of the University of Oxford, with an academic background in both the natural and social sciences. He has been tutoring for 10+ years, supporting students of varying ability, from pre-university pupils to university undergraduates and PhD students. He has assisted students on a global scale, from China, India, Europe, UAE, Canada, US and more. He supports across the following academic fields: Biological Sciences, Medicine & Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Education, Business and related subjects. He also assists with personal statements, entrance essays and examinations, and mock interviews.
Arif brings a depth of experience to tailor sessions to each and every student, so that every hour can be as productive as possible to maximize both learning and value. Students under Arif's supervision have received offers from their top-choice university, achieved first-class marks in their essays and dissertations, and gravitated towards their academic potential. In particular, Arif is happy to take extra care for students with learning difficulties and work to improve the expression of academic work at all educational levels.
Outside of tutoring, Arif works in start-up and venture capital consulting. He is therefore also equipped to be a sounding board for career queries, or working on CV and Cover Letters for internship and job applications.
