About Faycal
I’m Faycal, a graduate of the University of Oxford and Columbia University, currently completing an MSc at the London School of Economics. I specialise in academic writing, history, politics, and philosophy, and I work with students at A-level, IB, undergraduate, and postgraduate level. My background is in academic research, archival work, and editing, and my teaching focuses on clarity of thought, strong argumentation, and confidence in written work.

My name is Faycal, and I offer structured, goal-oriented tutoring focused on academic writing, argumentation, and admissions preparation. I help students improve clarity, structure, and confidence in their work through close reading, discussion, and guided writing. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are tailored to the student’s level and objectives. I work with A-level, IB, undergraduate, and MA students, as well as applicants to competitive UK and US universities. I am a graduate of the University of Oxford and Columbia University, and I am currently completing an MSc at the London School of Economics. My background includes academic research, archival work, and freelance editing. Subjects include history, politics, philosophy, international relations, religion, and academic writing more broadly.
