Anne is a former teacher and family friend. Aside from our classroom encounters, we had many after-school adventures. She was a great addition to our life. I recall a time we decided to put on a dance at church. It was my first time, and everyone loved it. This was not only fun but also a great bonding time for us. She treated me with care, love, and showed me kindness, which is still with me to this day, years later. I'm happy that she's still touching lives.

She took me with her into Eight Mile Rock as she tutored migrants in English, and even as a child I could feel the glow around her—the patience, compassion, and love she carried for helping others grow. Those experiences shaped my understanding of “service before self” and stayed with me throughout my life.
We have remained connected over the years, and she continues to shine just as brightly. Anne is truly a rare soul, the kind of mentor who leaves a permanent imprint on the hearts of those she touches. Anyone under her wing will undoubtedly flourish.
